This clip is getting a lot of attention because so many of us wanted to see a sequel to The Last Dragon back in the 80s or 90s. Here Taimak explains why we never got any sequels. I wrote about this back in 2013 in an article called: ‘The Last Dragon 2: The Glow – The Sequel that never happened‘ my thoughts were based on various interviews I listened to without knowing the exact details but my conclusions were pretty close. Taimak goes into more details about his relationship with Berry Gordy, contract talks with Suzanne De Passe and many other subjects mentioned in these videos in his autobiography.

So What’s Up with The Last Dragon Sequel Now?

In the meanwhile, fans are taking the story into their own hands. A fan named Daetrix is working on an animated series that will continue right where The Last Dragon left off. It’s called Rise of The Last Dragon <- hit the link to read more about it.
